Benefits of LED Inks
LEDs are more efficient for curing, offering several advantages for lower costs and environmental friendliness:
Energy-saving
LEDs (light emitting diodes) are a more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly option compared to traditional inks that are cured using arc lamps
Low emissions
Reduced VOCs lower a printer’s carbon footprint and create a low environmental impact while saving money.
Longer-lasting bulb life
LEDs have longer lasting bulb life in comparison to mercury arc lamps, as well as instant on/off advantage.
Lower ink consumption
Compared to solvent inks, led curable ink offers superior coverage which reduces the consumption and supply needed.
